Description
This table was originally designed and crafted out of Wenge. Unlike most pieces from the studio, Wenge is not locally salvaged, but they are ethically sourced from central Africa. The top is milled at only an inch thick to reduce weight. The aprons are angled in at a 45 degree angle and joined to the legs with no lower streachers or support bars. Instead it uses a tension cable system to keep the top from ever bowing. This design leaves plenty of prominent beautiful woodgrain while making the piece feel a lot less bulky.
