Intro to Guitar Making

Learn how to design and create an electric guitar or bass (Prerequisite to guitar making). This course breaks down different components and methods of making electric instruments.  We will explain the process with visuals, multiple examples, and demonstrations. Participants will be introduced to the machinery and specialty tools used in guitar making. During this workshop, participants will select wood, source hardware and make their own templates.

This course is for anyone interested in taking our guitar-making course, as well as any woodworkers or creatives with their own shop space. Resources for sourcing materials will be provided. Before starting the guitar-making course all materials, electronics, and hardware must be sourced and templates will be created.
